Nope, definitely not, and here’s why.
There are Color runs, Electric runs, Lite runs, Fun runs, Hot Chocolate runs, Mustache Dashes, Shamrock Shuffles, Monster runs, Zombie runs, Beer runs, Wine runs, Undie runs, Elf runs, Santa runs, Ugly sweater runs and runs celebrating nearly every holiday.
There are also a myriad of run/walks to benefit most deserving local and national charities whose missions are to find cures for illnesses, heighten awareness and provide support and education for those battling a disease and their families, friends and care givers.
Surprisingly, I am not aware of a national series focused on the most core-centric value of an individual – his or hers faith.
My partners and I have some experience in the event space having previously launched a national running series. For quite some time, we’ve discussed how exciting it would be to launch a faith-based run that would celebrate Christianity with a themed-run and an event day festival all wrapped with a fund-raising component for deserving charitable causes.
